The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for BTech admissions is a common entrance test for admission to Manipal Institute of Technology (MAHE Manipal), Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMU Sikkim) and Manipal University (MU) Jaipur

Eligibility for Manipal Entrance Test : 

Nationality : The applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National.

Qualifying Examination :

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Candidates appearing for the Manipal Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery- 2023 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2022, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:

• The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi).

• Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.

• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level.

Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.

ONLINE TEST BOOKING PASSWORD

The online test booking password will be sent to the candidates email Id given in the application form sufficiently in advance. If you do not receive it, you should immediately get in touch with the admission office.

Please remember, MU is not responsible for non-receipt of password through email, especially if you have specified an incorrect email address, or an email address you no longer use.

Once you receive the password, please be sure to keep it completely secure and confidential. Please do not disclose it to anyone, or auto-save it, or do anything that will make it liable for misuse.

The online test booking password is your sole authentication for the online test and other related transactions; it is of no use to anyone else, and therefore, it should remain in your safekeeping.

MU will not be held responsible for any claim or loss that results directly or indirectly from any unauthorized use or misuse of your online test booking password.  

Admit card Manipal Entrance Test

The system generates the e-hall ticket 24 hours after you have booked your schedule through the online test booking system. It is issued to applicants who book their slots using the online test booking system before the booking end date for respective courses as per the booking schedule.

Foreign /International/ NRI / NRI Sponsored category : MET Application fee : Rs. 2500

Admission to the MBBS / BDS / MD / MS / MDS / DM / MCh courses will be on the basis of the rank obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and counselling / allotment of seats by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi
