MANIPAL ENTRANCE TEST (MET) Exam Pattern

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has released the MET 2023 exam pattern. MET 2023 Phase 2 will now be conducted as a 2 Hour long remote online proctored examination.

The question paper of MET 2023 will also consist of Multiple Choice Questions (NAT) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions.

The total number of questions in MET 2023 has also dropped to 60, as compared to last year when the total number of questions were 200

Mode of MET 2023 Examination: Remote Proctored Test

The MET 2023 online test is two hours long. It consists of 60 multiple choice questions (MCQ).

Types of MET 2023 Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (Objective) & Numerical Answer Type (NAT) 

The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: 

Physics – 10 MCQs & 5 NAT;

Chemistry – 10 MCQs & 5 NAT;

Mathematics – 15 MCQs & 5 NAT;

English - 10 MCQs only. 

MET 2023 Marking Scheme : For MCQs & NAT, for every correct answer, four marks will be awarded 

MET 2023 Negative Marking : For MCQs every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. No negative marking for NAT. 

The final score will be displayed on the screen immediately after the completion of the test.  

The candidate should acknowledge the score in the printout of the score card in the presence of the invigilator.

Student can register for a total of 2 attempts based on Test Centre/Slot availability, best score amongst the attempts will be considered for the ranking.
